33. Circle Driveway
Maples, Magnolias, and Myrtles.
The first step to making a circle driveway is to find its center. At the center of our circle is a Katsura tree. On the perimeter we have a collection of Vine Maples, Magnolia Trees, and Crape Myrtles.
Driveway Plan
The size of our circle is based on a firetruck’s turning radius of 25’. A typical driveway is 12’ wide, making our outside radius 37’. In the future, we will relocate the driveway that connects to the guest house. We want to move it to the east (page right).
Fell List
An existing cedar tree was growing close to an existing spruce, casting shadows, and dumping lots of cedar needles. Timber!
Now with that tree out of the way, let us look at the trees that we added to our circle.
