I have five varieties of lavender, one in my meadow and four growing from seed in my greenhouse. I just learned from Wikipedia that “Lavandula (common name lavender) is a genus of 47 known species of perennial flowering plants in the mints family, Lamiaceae.” Four of my lavenders are English, aka True Lavenders (Lavandula Angustifolia) and one is a broadleaf Portuguese Lavendar (Lavandula Latifolia). I created this chart to help me decide where I want to plant them. The size ranges varied between the seed packet and what I could find on-line. If i had to bet, these varieties will be somewhere between 12 to 30 inches tall and wide.
